The information they contain is about as far from the status quo as it gets, but has also been building blocks on the road to changing my perspective on everything The first recommendation is a podcast called The Psychedelic Salon. Over the course of several hundred episodes, the curator Lorenzo Hagerty seeks to entertain discussions on mental health, plant medicines, even altering consciousness itself.   The second recommendation for the week is the book You Will Die: The Burden of Modern Taboos. For me, this book sparked an interest in where particular American customs came from. The process of asking "Why?", and more importantly the answers it has led me to, has been one of the main reasons I've chosen to break free of the proverbial mold.
